Poetry Thursday - The Ramdomiser

Poetry Thursday has a new tool- The Ramdomiser, which brings up a new word prompt when the PT page is refreshed. Our task was to use our random word in a poem. I got "unfurl". What a magical word; poetic in its own right.

Unfurl
Creeping vine
T'ward heavens, curl
Entwining branch
In tangled whorl
While newborn ferns
Reach and unfurl
Midst shafting forest light

Oh, how peaceful this poem is... I love those types of ferns that just unfurl themselves... beautiful picture as well.

It is a very gentle snippet of the natural world...always a good thing! I like what you did with the randomizer.

What a great mix of language--so rich, so old--and precise imagery. It's all so very attentive.

I love how the language seems to be unfurling too and I love ferns...

I think the randomiser acted very well for you as a muse.
